Hi , My husband took out a loan in 2004 with RBS - our business went under in 2005 which meant that we had years of debt horror. We were advised by the CAB to pay a token amount to our creditors even if it was a DCA without requesting any evidence eg CCA . Long story short - a 12 yr battle with mortimer clark and 99& are now statute Barred , the odd letter to new companies who try it on but statute barred none the less.
Cabot, however, are requesting more money which we can't afford at the moment - we requested the CCA about 11 years ago and they eventually sent a true signed copy from RBS .
We asked again receently and they said they did not have one and had to find it , it was with the CCA team etc
Its been more than 12 days +2 and we don't have a copy . When can I send a Dispute letter to finally put this debt into dispute please ?
As it is pre 2007 it needs to a true signed copy and reconstituted copy too I am sure . Where do I find the dispute letter?
