I understand that in the small claims court, if a defendant loses a case that a CCJ is issued which may have an impact on credit record unless paid and removed within 30 days, but what about the converse?
If the claimant loses the case and this results in costs being awarded against the claimant (e.g. loss of earnings, assuming no counterclaim), then through what means is this recovered and would it result in a debt being registered against the claimant similar to a CCJ and therefore does it have to be paid within 30 days and an application made to have it registered as satisfied and removed?
