I feel this should be brought to your attention.
At 9am Saturday morning whilst looking in Oxfam shop window at books, waiting for the Way Ahead Hairdressers to open, there was a terrible crash and the window upstairs smashed and small and big shards of glass fell onto pavement missing me by inches.
I was so shocked and upset and if I'd been a foot or so back I would have had big and small shards of glass stuck in my head and shoulders and probably be dead by now.
God was on my side this morning and I am very lucky.
Someone shouted from the upstairs window are you ok and said they opened the window and the glass fell out.
Had I been hurt or more I would have sued them.
The lady near to me who I was waiting with said I was lucky to be alive, as did the two ladies in the hairdressers.
Some sort of apology or more is the least Oxfam can do and it was at least 10 minutes before ladies came down and started sweeping up.
No one came down to see if anyone was ok or to take my details and put in their accident book.
We had to stop passers by from walking through glass and cutting themselves.
I didn't take any photos as was in shock but maybe Chippenham Town CCTV cameras may have it on their cameras.
I am one traumatised and upset 73 year old.
I received a reply from them that basically just said sorry, they seem not really bothered.
Can I do anything re compensation for my trauma as I am very upset and having trouble sleeping because I keep reliving it.
Thank you.

PS I received a reply which basically said sorry and that's it.
