Hi, I’m new to the forum... Any advice on this matter is appreciated.
I have bought an off plan property in Dubai from a developer and have a schedule of payments. So far I have paid a deposit and 4 instalments, (approx 20% of the full amount owed). Due to covid 19 I have now lost my source of income and can no longer pay the instalments agreed in the SPA. Completion is due 2023 and at present no construction has started.
What are my options moving forward?
I have signed the SPA but I have not yet received the Oqood or any document from the land registry. When I have requested these documents I have been told that they are being processed.... I’ve been told this repeatedly for the last 8 months.
Is there are possibility that I would be able to cancel the agreement and have the money refunded?
