  • Contractual Changes without authority

Hi looking for some advice on ongoing issues with the company of which I am currently employed, Teleperformance. I have listed a number of issues myself and 12 others have been having since joining the company on 03/03/2020.*
    - A group of 15 of us joined the Teleperformance Aviva campaign on March 03. For the month of March we where involved in 4 weeks training on the Aviva campaign. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic we where moved off the campaign and onto public health England campaign at the beginning of April.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * - We had originally signed contracts with Aviva which seen our wage rise from £9.00 to £9.30 in April. The PHE campaign had at the time a wage of £10 per hour which upon moving across to this campaign we had been promised as well. However, it transpired after no further communication that our wage would not be increased and we where paid our salary at £9.30ph at the end of April.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *- As this was never increased we assumed no contractual changes had been made and we continued into our May pay under the assumption we where working on a wage of £9.30 PH as per our contracts. However, upon receiving our May payslips it appeared our salary had been decreased. In addition an over-payment was also deducted. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the company had decreased our wage from £9.30 to £9.00 without any communication with us. They then deducted an over-payment from our wage due to the us being paid at £9.30 in our April wage. This meant that we had been working for 8 weeks under the knowledge we where being paid at £9.30ph.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *-At no point in the previous 8 weeks have we received new contracts, have we been told our wage would be decreasing to £9 and that money would be deducted from our wage. The earliest notification of the wage decrease was made to our employee system on the 11 of June. This is first time without asking we could of been aware of the change. Although there still was no notification of this change being made.* * These are only a few major issues among many others including promises with shift patterns which never transpired, as well as being paid incorrectly and there being no urgent action to correct this. The money in this situation is not an issue, I am not seeking an increase back to £9.30. The way the company have handled this situation has been appalling and I feel they must take some accountability for this. I am only seeking advice on whether the company has mishandled this situation legally and if there is anything that can be done.
