Hi Folks,
Hope you are all keeping well,
I was just seeking some advice for a friend.
Unfortunately, she had kidney failure and was blessed with having a kidney transplant.
Cut a long story short she is eternally grateful however on the same day of the surgery, unsure how but post-surgery her bowel had been perforated.
It got to the stage where she was rushed to ITU before it was realised it was perforated and had surgery resulting in a colostomy bag.
Now she has made multiple attempts to get an answer how it happened, prior perfectly fit and healthy, but is struggling to get any definitive answer
She has had a very traumatic time and has had several ITU encounters again due to issues sepsis with the colostomy
Now she is in no way motivated for any financial renumeration but has thought of getting in touch with the negligence specialist only to request her medical details and get a doctor to review.
Please advise, she has no experience of these negligence specialists and has no desire for any financial gain, but from online research these companies are minefield with complex fees?
Any thoughts much appreciates?
Apologies for the longish post.
Thankyou in advance.
