  • Hello. False allegation/Harassment help

    Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could possibly point me in the right direction as to where I get help from with this issue.

One year ago new neighbours moved next door to my parents cottage, they are both pensioners and have lived their happily for over 40 years. The neighbours are a young couple in their 20's and keep making false allegations to the police about my father. it's constant, one after another, my father is 70 and it is making him ill, the neighbours actually managed to have him arrested on suspicion of allegedly committing half a dozen random made up offences, including criminal damage, none of it was proven, as we know it didn't happen, so they try again, and again, anything they can think of reporting my father for, they do it, and this has resulted in even more police visits and is having an impact on my parents health.

I am sure that this constitutes a form of harassment, my neighbour could keep doing this forever, even if no charges are made, just the constant police visits is distressing enough. Does anybody have any suggestions what we can do about it? I am really worried for my parents. It is such a sick vile thing do to to a couple of pensioners, but they keep getting away with it, and the police visits continue. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
