  • Car crash advice please

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice on what happened to me and my car in September 2019 still pending liability admitting.
I am a young girl driving home from work (nhs) and a car pulled out of a side street did not stop and hit my passenger side
The driver then mounted the kerb and attempted to drive off from the scene silly enough it is a dead end at the bottom of the street i got out and chased for pictures. The man eventually stopped and spoke to me disgusting he was late 40’s and im early 20’s in my scrubs and nhs fleece so he knew i was either leaving work or on my way.
he told me that he didnt know who his insurance was with as he was in a ‘service authority car’
i got his details and since then his insurance has said it is 50:50 as there is not a give way sign at the side street. But you cannot pass your driving test without knowing you have to stop at a junction?
i want advice on what to do i have a witness statement and my car got wrote off and i ended up in a&e the third party had nothing but a scratch on his car this is still on going and worries me all the time i dont want to loose my no claims only having my license 5 years
    any advice :-( ????
