Hi, I was arrested last Thursday night and released the following day on conditional bail pending further investigation.
One of the conditions is that I can only make arrangements to see my son through a specific 3rd party. That 3rd party has now changed their mind and no longer wish me to contact them, suggesting I make child access arrangements through a different 3rd party.
Obviously contacting a different 3rd party to the one named would be in breach of bail.
I am due to attend the police station early next week, at which point my solicitor fully expects that no further action will be taken and the matter will be dropped.
So my question is* - is it possible to change the name of the 3rd party contact in a timely manner so that I may see my son in the coming days? From what I have been reading any application to make changes could take days, and even then the application will probably be ignored anyway.
There is no restrictions placed upon me seeing my son, so that is not an issue. It is just that as the named 3rd party now refuses to liaise with me I have no means of lawfully making arrangements to see him.
Or shall I just take it on the chin so to speak, and just wait until charges are dropped and the bail conditions lifted?
Thanks
