  • Shared Ownership issues

Hi Folks I hope you're all well. My first post here so I hope this is the right place to post it. If not, please do redirect me to the right forum.
I recently purchased a shared ownership property on a brand new development. On the day of completion the construction company that built the development went into administration. The housing association have since hired a sub-contractor to deal with the snagging list. It has come to light that none of the windows in our apartment / the apartment block have been fitted correctly and they are causing a significant draft in the apartment. I have been told that I may qualify for a compensation claim against the housing group due to the inflated heating costs as a result of the drafts. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is there any legislation that would be in my favour to help speed up a compensation claim / get the windows replaced asap.
I welcome any suggestions or tips.
    Thanks in advance
    James
