  • CCJ from previous employer

Hi I work for the NHS. I found a CCJ dates back to 2016 whilst submitting a mortgage application last week. All coming as a shock as I never had credit issues or late payments etc... Having investigated it, it is to do with an over payment whilst between jobs in 2015. All correspondences, court claims related to the matter have been sent to a previous address which I haven't lived at for over two years at the time. It is all very frustrating as I have worked for the same employer between 2017-2018 and no one from payroll or HR mentioned a word of it.
I have since contacted the employer and agreed on a settlement plan. I want this CCJ to be sit a side ASAP as I need to get the mortgage application sorted ASAP.*
I have contacted the court today and they advised to fill in a "Consent Order" signed by myself and the claimant stating the terms. This supposed to be quicker and cheaper than an N244 form
Anyone had any similar experience? Any advise will be much appreciated.
    Many thanks.
