black horse hire purchase voluntary termination

Hi,
I have read lots of forums about VT on hire purchase.
On my agreement it says the amount I need to repay to VT, however it also says:
Note - you will still have to pay the outstanding balances for any insurances.

Bit confused as to what these insurances are - there is a section for insurances, but its not clear how much I would pay on it? Will they then charge me extra for this or should it be included?
