Loan In England

Can anyone advise me..

My partner took out a loan in the UK with two bank's* one of 3k and the other 10k, that she can't pay and refuse to pay.

I am looking to buy a Holiday home in Cyprus and my partner would like it in Joint name's,

am i putting myself at risk from the bank's forcing* repossession, or any sort of charge on the property in Cyprus,
