  • Cash lump sum or not

Husband has been diagnosed with a life changing degenerative disease been made redundant and had to sell our home as unable to pay the morgage. currently on UC housing benefit, councill tax benefit ,pip and carers allowance ESA income based* I want my hubby to enjoy the the years to come as the years moving forward are going to be very difficult for us both. I would like someone could advise me if taking a large pension lump sum would affect the entitlement of benefits in future financial years after the money has gone having a holiday etc
