I’m hoping someone can help, I have an issue where a member of the public has posted a comment about my business reputation and personal character which firstly is False, and secondly despite being fabricated and in no way able to be proven by the person who wrote it, they have intentionally set out to ruin my business by posting blatant lies on social media encouraging her 19,000 followers not to use my company based on a lie!
I have the snapshot of the post and blocked and restricted the person on Instagram, but I noticed that on the day this happened I had a huge influx of visits to my page! And if each of those visits were a potential customer then I can already see a loss of £50k
can anything be done about this, I have the woman’s mobile number as she contacted me from the number on our van, and I have her social media handle , but nothing more than that. Is this something that can be pursued to seek damages and liable and defamation of professional character. Â* I must add I have also received threatening messages in social media from this woman’s husband also adds to my worries. Â*Â*
