  • Builder Dispute

We are in the process of renovating our property where we used a sold trader builder to carry out the work, unfortunately it didn't end well and we parted ways ( that is another story).
He used a third party to scaffold the property which i have never had any dealing with and we paid the money to the builder directly and have proof of payment ect.

Our last communication with the builder was to take down the scaffolding as we didn't want it up anymore as we wanted to cut all ties which he agreed, however, fast forward 3 months its still there.

I have now been contacted by the scaffold company who have asked when the scaffolding needs to be taken down and how we will be paying for it?

What is my best approach here?

    Thanks
