Hello!
I am trying to find some help for my dad as he received a Claim Form recently from the County Court regarding an unpaid parking ticket dated January 2019.
The reason we failed to pay is because my dad claimed there were no signs that would show a forbidden area to park and within the letters we received only one picture of the vehicle was sent, picture actually showing the vehicle moving and not stationing. So, we tried appeal it but it didn’t work as Civil Enforcement responded to us saying they have enough evidence to show the car was actually parked but they’re not willing to provide us with anything. What do you think I should do? It’s the first time going through this and I don’t think I’d have time nor knowledge to defend my dad in court. I just wanna know if we can make an arrangement to pay the amount in instalments as they said asking for more time to pay may result in judgment being entered against us.
