Accessing earlier medical expert report from the defendants solicitors ?

I have recently received a medical report from the defendants medical expert. It is marked as “Final report” I have not had sight of any earlier reports?

Is there any case history in law where now I am aware there have been earlier reports , I can force the defendants solicitors to release these earlier reports?
