  • Can you have a satisfied default and then a CCJ for the same credit card?

We had a lot of financial issues in about 2006/7. Long story short, I lost my job and we ended up selling our house to clear as many debts as we could.
One credit card ended up in default back then and stayed on my file for 6 years. I started making payments to a dca for this credit card but they eventually ceased trading. I didn't hear anything else about this debt until Lowell contacted me.
I sent Lowell the usual letters (downloaded template letters from Money Saving Expert) to get them to prove they owned the debt etc but they never actually sent me any proof they had anything to do with this debt. This morning I have received paperwork from Northampton County Court telling me they have filed to have a CCJ against me.
Where is the best place to ask about this please?
