  • Hello, need a little bit of help please,

    Hello,

i received a letter today. It’s a county Court Business Centre claim form.
    Claiment is Lowell Portfolio LTD

claim is based of them saying I owe E-On money.
i left E-ON in June 2016 because they didn’t give me bills. For the first year I had no bills at all, and the money I paid in just sat in my E-On account in credit.
My advocate helped me get this fixed as I needed bills to prove my exspendeture to social services for my care, when they fixed it they just sent one big bill for the amount of money in my account and no break down how I used it in electronic or gas.
i was ment to be on a smart meter, but after the above I started receiving estimated bills. I continued to pay same amount each month. Over the years The was 1 or 2 I missed and payed double the next month. But I was always in good payments.
i left them as I needed correct billing which they where not giving me. So I switched suppliers.

the form I got from Court is in my maiden name but the address is incorrect. Not because I moved, just very incorrect.
They are claiming for just under £445,50
i am trying to get hold my old advocate but she most likely has moved on, as she would have the notes from when we had to fight E-ON over the bills.
i do not believe I owe E-ON any money. I paid them every month including June the month I left, which seamed strange to me s you pay in advance.
Issue date on letter is 8th July 2019
    at bottom says it’s N1SDT chain form (04, 14)

i would be very grateful for your help,

    thank you for your time
