Hello, unfortunately I messed up submitting my Defence for a county court claim re one of the Private Parking Company "fines". I phoned up the County Court Business Centre straight away and have been told that I need to submit an amended Defence using the N422 form.
I've read the below information, but I'm still a bit confused by the process. Can I submit the N422 via email with the amended Defence and then phone up and pay? I think that if I get the Defence in before the initial Defence goes to the PPC then it's okay. If I don't, does it have to be approved by a judge and would I have to appear in person for that?
I don't want to chicken out and pay the PPC, but it's beginning to look like it will save an awful lot of hassle.
