  • Phoenix collections for alleged pcn october 2017

on 25 April 18 I received a text message regarding a "Phoenix Account" I had no idea what it was for but it threatening and "to avoid a vehicle being clamped and potentially removed " I needed to contact their office .

I had had no idea who they were or what they wanted & I couldn't contact them via the mobile they sent the message to as it keep disconnecting .

i have written to them asking them how they got this number & what they want

today I've received a letter from Phoenix commercial collections on behalf of Bolton council regarding Penalty Charge Noice & demanding £423.00 !

The parking fine date is 15 October 2017 ( a Sunday - I googled the date - free parking day ) for parking in a disabled space without displaying a blue badge.

My mother does have a blue badge & I possibly may have been parked in the spot but I have never received a parking fine or I would have dealt with it at the time .

the notices have been issued to my previous address and I no longer have the vehicle as I changed my car over a year ago ( & moved over 2 years ago)

The he letter dated 25 April 19 ( today is 1 May 19) says an application has been made for "a warrant of Control to be re issued to my current address" .....& further costs.

have I any way of challenging this & the costs.

i certainly don't have £423. I really don't know which way to turn

    HELP PLEASE
