I recently had a ccj in my name, I paid the fee in full within 30days and still have the ccj marked on my credit file. I have a receipt to prove that i made payment in full.
I have spoken to the court that issed the ccj and explained that it has been paid in full and sent a photo via email to them.
They are now saying they wont expect this as proof as it hasn't got the claim number written on and they have had no contact with the person I owed the money to. I have tried to contact the person I owed the money to and request that either I get another copy of a receipt with the claim number written on or they make contact to the court. As they have received payment now they are ignoring me emails.
at this point I cannot get the ccj removed off my file.
can someone help to let me know what steps I can take from here to move forward.
