Hi all,
I'm hoping some of you may have experience with this situation and can advise me on where to head next.
I VT'd a car back in January last year after following R0b 's advice on these forums, I disputed the expected mileage charges and until recently I had heard nothing and considered the dispute to be closed. However, upon checking my credit rating recently I have noticed over 10 late monthly payments charges which has significantly affected my credit file. I utilised one of the excess mileage charge templates on this forum and received this letter in response last week;

There are quite a few inaccuracies in their response, in that I upped the annual mileage from 10,000 to 15,000 half way through the agreement, and equally the date was January 2018 (not 2019) and I certainly did not sign and return a voluntary termination notice, I wrote a letter on my own terms exercising my right to terminate.
Any advice on where to go with this now would be a great help, I am in the process of trying to apply for a mortgage and as you can all imagine - I don't look too attractive to mortgage lenders at the moment!
Many thanks,
Jon
