  • Notice of claim Issue - Lowell Solicitors

Hi all, first time here. I received a letter titled 'Notice of claim Issue' from Lowell yesterday. The debt was for an utility bill about 5 years ago. The letter states I will shortly receive a CC from Northampton CC. Interest, court fee and solicitors fees have been added to the debt. Now, I do not understand what this letter mean, can someone explain? Is this the same as letter before claim? I disputed the bill with the utility company when it was sent (5 yrs ago), I did not receive a response from them and assumed it was over until Lowell took over. I have the email trail of the dispute with the utility company so I want to use that as my prove of dispute. Is this the right way to go?
    Cheers.
