  • Voluntry Termination

    Hello,

I have a Volkswagen polo on PCP with VWFS which i took out new May 2015 with a contracted mileage of 8,000 p/a over 4 years.

I am planning on VT'ing the vehicle in September which is when i will have paid 50% as confirmed by VWFS when i called them in October 2017.

I am currently at approximately 32,000 and will likely be between 37 & 38,000 miles by September when I am contracted in total to 32,000 over the 4 years.

Please could you advise where I stand with excess mileage and whether they can make me pay? When i called in October to find out how much more i needed to pay before I could VT they did not mention that I will have to pay excess mileage if i am over and the fair wear and tear guide on the vwfs website does not suggest this either.

I have not done a major amount more either year averaging just over 2,000 extra miles a year (i think)

I have read that they cannot enforce this and the is in good condition and has been serviced, mot'd as per the service schedule.

    Thanks!

    Kat
