and no more epic panto than the one that we the consumer has been involved with over the last few years.
A bit like Jack and the beanstalk this one, only sadly this time the giant (the banks) won.
Jack having found his little bean (The fairness of OD charges) gave it to our very own Fairy Godmother (the OFT) to nuture and tend, but unfortunately the Fairy Godmother was unable to make Jack's bean fruit and it died.
Along the way though this panto has brought much goodwill, from both sides. Firstly the giant offering goodwill to thousands, by way of their charges back. Then Jack kindly repaying this goodwill in helping the giant recover from a very bad time.
So much so that the giant had enough money left over to buy more ammo to defeat Jack. The Fairy Godmother with so very little spends could not match him either.
So that be that for now folks unless.......................
