Are you saying you ordered your bank to cancel your direct debit (which was in Sky's favour)?
If so, was the cancellation in writing or verbally ?
Did you tell Sky you were cancelling the contract?
Are Sky continuing to trigger the direct debit, which is then returned unpaid by the bank (because of lack of funds in the account?)
The bank are then charging you for returning the direct debits unpaid?
