Re: SITE UPGRADE - Glitches? Report in here!

New posts quietly driving me mad lol! Can the refresh rate for new posts be fairly dramatically speeded up? I'm finding that I post a reply, then when I get into new posts, the thread is nowhere to be seen.

Also as a separate thing, on the side menu bar, bailiffs appear twice, once by themselves, and once linked in with a couple of other things. Is there any chance of making it totally it's own discrete section ?

Can we have a list of who's online or viewing chatbox under chatbox please, so we can see who's around without having to scroll up and down all the time please.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Re: SITE UPGRADE - Glitches? Report in here!

                  Hi everyone

We are slowly working through remaining glitches. We've turned off a lot of old plug-ins, started to incorporate the new colour scheme, mended the chat box and started to use the Content Management System to publish articles.
Tomorrow we will work on the Home Page and fix more glitches.

As we've done lots of tweaking in the last day or so, could all of you who have reported glitches on this thread repost that post with a Quote and tell us if it's fixed or not.

                  Many thanks xx

Re: SITE UPGRADE - Glitches? Report in here!

Is anyone else having problems posting replies? It could be a problem our end, but I am regularly getting "Oops Page Broken!" message.

Also, and this I believe is not our end, the site is extremely slow at present. Other sites are flying, but the poor beagle needs a vet at the moment! He's limping along.

Weird, not aware of any speed or posting reply issues, this end. Anyone else experiencing this? Or is Labmans labrador chewing the internet again?

Seems fine on IE apart from a couple of times I have had to log back in.
Still problems with the Android device so may take you off that as its getting a bit annoying!
Still getting to grips with the new layout.:tinysmile_aha_t:
Report as requested, still the same and still "jumping" in Android version.
Phone version did not work as its not a phone but a "tablet" with android.

The Bailiff link at the top links to 'Debt Collection Agencies, Bailiffs and Enforcement,' not the Bailiff thread.

Would it not make more sense to have Bailiffs all in one place? I know I never check this link for bailiff posts, I check the one which is purely for bailiffs.
