Hi all,
I was hoping someone could help.
I am trying to execute my grandmothers will - she actually died over 20 years ago, but for whatever reason, my father did not carry out probate. Following his death a couple of years ago, I have now taken it upon myself to complete this.
My main question is whether I should:
a) find a lawyer who is UK based but with a Hong Kong office
b) find a lawyer based in HK
Initially A was more appealing, given that I am based in the UK and this would make meetings & communication easier but I am now wondering if this is even necessary. I am having difficulty finding a lawyer I am happy with, who has a HK office. If I was just trying to find a probate lawyer based in HK, this would be easier.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks in advance,
Jack
