I am due to be paid a considerable amount of money from my late mothers estate but I live in Spain and I am a Spanish resident, I do not have a UK or Spanish bank account but my wife does....my solicitor has told me they will only pay the money into an account in my name, I cannot open a UK account (and dont wish to) as my only address is in Spain, I do not want to open a Spanish account to have the money deposited in as the exchange rate and charges will cost too much money.....can the solicitor pay the money into my wifes UK account if they really want to?
How can my solicitor pay me my inheritance?
