My mum sadly passed away in July.
We have only just sent off for Probate towards the end of September.
I have some concerns.
I am worried how long probate will take.
My mother had equity release on her property She initially borrowed £150K, then debt now stands at £380K.
I phoned Probate and there is an automated message that due to a backlog and new computer system, it will take around 12 weeks.
My Auntie, her husband died in January, his Probate didn't go off until March, she's still waiting.
The phone number I had to ring Winchester, with the automated message on, you cannot get through to physically speak to anyone.
Is there a direct email address to send them an email?
