  • Energy provider

Hi. I have had a complaint with an energy provider Together Energy. I had to take a complaint with the energy ombudsman. 17th April 2019. Eventually they ruled in my favour. And it was agreed that they pay me my outstanding balance and compensation of £40 plus final bill and letter of apology. They had 28 days to do this which was 31st May 2019. That date came and went. Because I agreed to accept the decision the case had been closed.

I had to create a second complaint forcing me down another long route. I insisted that the compensation should be raised to £60. This is were I am now. It is my belief that they will yet again not fulfil the agreement. I believe this date will be 22ndJuly 2019.

Having said this can I take up a case with the county court using form N1? I would probably like to raise the compensation to £100 as this will be the 2nd failed claim with the ombudsman which will (probably) find in my favour.

Having looked at the online form It has amount claimed and court fees only (I will get a layer to be their).

I have looked on line about complaints against the provider and there is a plethora of them where they run roughshod over the ombudsman. Thousands of us were put with this provider by OFGEM as the previous provider went bust. We had no say in the matter.

    TIA

    Desmond.
