claiming PPI from Rover dealer Marshalls who mis sold me Chartered Trust Finance

Does anyone have experience with claiming ppi from car dealers? I was mis sold ppi with Chartered Trust who were bought by black Horse Finance. At the time I questioned whether I could use another insurer for ppi as the amound seemed very high. Was told I can only get finance if I take ppi with them at the same time.

I was going to try a Claim Handling Company as thought they would be better experienced in getting results but have been told that this is not necessarily so.

Any thoughts on the matter greatly appreciated.
