Hello everyone, Thank you in advance for any info you can give. It’s a little complex and unusual so I’ll try break it down.
I bought a car on finance in 2012
car had major mechanical issue and I wrote formal letter of rejection to finance company Black Horse.
They paid half the repair cost with the car supplier and I kept the car. However, I didn’t restart the finance repayments.
I contacted BH when I moved house to restart arrangement but it was never restarted even though I made an arrangement with them they never persuaded it. I waited for the payment details etc but never came and from then until now not paid it.
So now the car has been off road for 2 years and I need to scrap it.
1: Can I scrap the car without informing BH?
2: Is this agreement now statue Barred?
3: Will it still be registered with outstanding HPI?
