Hello,
I would appreciate some advice please.
I have 3 outstanding invoices owed to VWFS, amounting to just under £5k for end of contract charges.
This amount covers:
excess mileage,
a little dent,
monthly rentals which were outside the formal agreement period
The amount is correct but I haven’t been able to pay and they’ve been due since mid Jan. 2021.
I emailed VWFS to request a 3 month deferral and that I’d pay monthly instalments of roughly £600.00 after that.
A company called Themis Recoveries then sent me 2 separate letters asking me to contact VWFS but I didn’t respond to these.
I have now had 2 separate letters from Blake Morgan Solicitors.
Their latest letter states that VWFS are open to a settlement opportunity.
I have tried to attach a copy of the letter but a message pops up saying I don't have permission to do this. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, sorry.
My questions are:
Apologies for all the questions but I am clueless!
I would be most grateful for any help and advice.
Many thanks,
Lucy1000

My questions are:
- It says “without prejudice save as to costs” at the top of the letter - what does this mean?
- They state that if I am a key worker (which I am), I should tell them so that they can note it on their files but does telling them really help me?
- They say the discounted balance will be subject to affordability checks – what does this mean?
- They say the full and final settlement offer may impact my credit file - is this correct?
