Am trying to VT my Astra as really want to get away from Vauxhall but just been told by the finance company that they will charge excess mileage of 9p per mile. I have actually gone over the agreed mileage by £30,000 so some £2700 to pay. I am sure that when I took the finance out 4 years ago the dealer told me to put down lower mileage to keep the cost down because it doesnt matter and you can never be charged for it.
I cannot afford to pay this (dont mind paying for bits of wear and tear and £114 GAP insurance outstanding) so thinking I may have to cancel and just keep the Astra?!
