Last October PCM UK took over the contract for the parking management for the flats that I am a leaseholder in. On the first day of the contract (at 5:45am no less) they stuck a 'ticket' on our car. Truthfully, I just ignored it. We received a Letter Before Claim from Gladstone's today. A previous letter had gone to our old address. I acknowledge that we hadn't sent off the update letter to the DVLA when we moved, which I have done now. The letters are all addressed to my wife, who is the registered keeper.
From my research, the primary of contract defence seems most fitting, as there is no specification for a permit in our lease, just taxed, insured etc.
Should my approach be to use the online claims part of PCM UK's site to inform them that I am disputing it under these grounds?
