Excel Parking Services Limited - Parking Appeal Rejected
Hi all,
I recently stayed at a Premier Inn in Coventry back in April 30/04/2024. When I arrived I went into see the receptionist to see about the parking. They told me that I had to pay using the machine.
I then paid for 24hrs at a cost of £5.00, but then on 3rd June 2024 I received a Parking Charge Notice. I appealed this because I paid for the parking.
They have come back and said that even though I paid, I didn't pay in time.
I have tried to appeal using the IAS but it doesn't recognise the Parking Charge Number or my registration details.
As you can imagine, I'm quite annoyed by this considering that I paid for the parking. Another issue is that I never received the Parking Charge Notice within 14 days of their alleged contravention.
Can you please advise my next steps?
