I have received notification that my appeal to the IAS was unsuccessful. I've found lots of advice on how to appeal to this stage but not what to do now. My appeal was on the grounds of unclear signage. The signs were located on hoardings with lots of other signs and logos and were also partially covered by graffiti.
The areas was also poorly lit - there is no street lighting and I got the fine at night.
Does anyone think that I have a chance of getting out of the fine if I go to court - if it even gets to that stage? I know I can just ignore it and hope they do not send bailiffs or take me to court but I am nervous of going to court and incurring a fine plus their costs.
I thought the fact the signage was partially obscured by graffiti and hard to identify gave me a good chance of a successful appeal.
Unfortunately I've confirmed the drivers names.
Really appreciate any advice.
