  • Parking operator - no landlord authority

Hi all. I was recently successful with my appeal to POPLA against a PCN on the basis that the operator could not provide a valid landlord authority. They relied on a 5 year old document signed on behalf of a company that does not currently hold the site…

This was good news but got me thinking on two counts..

    1. for how long have they been taking money at the site, seemingly without the authority to do so.. who would be the right body to explore this?

    2. does this mean they misrepresented themselves in gaining my info from DVLA?

I have reported to trading standards, written to the local MP, will write to the BPA. I also wonder if I should complain to DLVA about a DPA breach.

welcome any thoughts, or if I should just be pleased with the outcome as it is.

    thanks
