Birmingham Metchley drive PCN on badly eroded lines with leaves covering.

Hi All,

Enforcement officer decided to book me a PCN on badly eroded lines with leaves covering. I've attached pics. Please let me know what you think and whether I should Pay or take it to court. I have appealed the ticket. I've heard lines should be clearly visible, no gaps, ends should also be visible. I'm not sure what to do.
