Hello everybody, I have a question. If a sign can be forbidding e.g. no parking without permit etc. so there is no offer to form a contract. What about signs such as Free parking for two hours say as in shopping centres. As the offer is free parking there is no consideration and the parking is a gift and therefore cannot create a contract under English law. Three things required to form a contact, offer , acceptance and consideration.
Any thoughts?
