Hi,
I'm trying to find out the law around hanging posters promoting political parties on privately rented properties in Scotland.
A friend has been told she must take her banner down or face eviction. The landlord is the National Trust for Scotland. Her tenancy agreement does state that she can't decorate without prior written permission.
Just wondered if tenants have any rights on this issue in the interest of democracy!
NB. She has already taken it down as this landlord has been known to find reasons to evict even if the actual grievance does not provide sufficient grounds.
