We recently had our flat valued to purchase the other half.
The surveyor valued it more than my neighbours flat that was valued 2 months before. The price difference was a lot and the flat would not have risen in value by this amount.
It was not the same surveyor as the original surveyor has now left the company and we used another firm.
Does anybody have any experience of disputing this valuation with a housing association?.
we had to use a surveyor off a list of approved surveyors from Genesis.
