  • Shared Supported housing

Hi my son lives in shared supported housing and is having issues with other tenants. He and another tenant spoke to a new person asking them to tidy up after themselves. This person is quite abusive and threatening trashed the house, damaged my son's bike, walked in his room uninvited and hit the other tenant and his girlfriend. He was arrested and due to MH reasons was sectioned. Apparently the investigation was dropped. Now I understand the MH reasons will give this tenant some protection and I agree with that but how can my son and others ensure their safety. Housing people are refusing to listen to any worries. They are saying police issue nothing to do with them and their fault for arguing with them over cleaning the house. They didnt speak to them on the day this happened and tried getting housing involved before but it didn't help. They have now received warnings themselves for arguing with the person...but not until after this incident.

sorry any advice what they can do?
