Will take effect from 1 July 2013.
1. The time limit for applying for a judicial review of a planning decision
is changing from three months to six weeks.
2. The time limit for applying for a judicial review of a procurement
decision is reducing from three months to 30 days.
3. A £215 court fee is being introduced for anyone seeking a hearing in
person after their initial written judicial review application has been
turned down (the current fee is £60)
.
4. Claimants are to be precluded from seeking a hearing in person if their
initial written application has been ruled by a judge as “totally
without merit”.
