  • bringing a claim for breach of contract

    Hi,
despite trying to resolve a matter with an organisation we are in contract with we have been unable to resolve the dispute.* It is impossible to continue without finding a resolution, therefore we are close to fileing a claim for breach of contract.* Ive looked at the Cival procedure rules and its quite daunting.* Once filed we wish to obtain evidence from the defendants they hold.* We have already tried to obtain the information with a request under Civil Procedure Rules part 31.16 and 31.17 disclosure before proceedings start and orders for disclosure against a person not a party.* this was refused as was any other request for information.

Once the claim is submitted will the defendant be liable to provide information they hold to us.* Is there a straightforward way to obtain documents from them. ?

    Thank you
