Has anyone had success complaining to their Council about neighbours not regularly clearing up dog faeces in their garden?
I complained to my local Council who visited my neighbours and asked them to clear up the dog faeces and other waste accumulating in their garden. The neighbours partially did this. When the Council officer returned he said there wasn't sufficient waste/faeces for it to be a statutory nuisance and that I should contact him if the situation worsened. It did and the same thing happened. I have contacted the Council for the third time and they seem to be obstructing my opportunity to report the problem. They won't give me any guidelines as to how many piles of faeces are sufficient to raise a new complaint or warrant a statutory notice. Has anyone any success or sound advice on this topic?
