Hello, sadly I am looking at splitting from my wife.
I have*PTSD and depression so thinking straight is quite impossible at the moment.
We bought the current house with equity from her house (£140,000) and got a mortgage for the rest (£110,000).* My wife claims we must sell the house for £360,000 to be clear of debts and anything over that will be split equally.
This doesn't sound right as I think it's £260,000 but am finding all of this overwhelming and the medication doesn't help.
Sorry if this is basic stuff but my mind is spaghetti at the moment.* Any advice would be appreciated.
